FUND RAISING T-shirt order was paid. We will have theme shirts and serenity prayer t-shirts. The t-shirt sales will be with literature sales and not split.
UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS
2009 November 6, 7 & 8, St. Mary of the Pines Registrations for the fall retreat are coming in. Twenty-seven registrations have been received. Ms. Retreat co-chair is Carol P. Speaker is from Oklahoma and has 29 years of abstinence. The Theme is “Toward A New Freedom: The Promises Realized”. Scholarships were awarded. The retreat center will donate one scholarship and COLA/MS will split the other. Please keep encouraging donations for the auction-new or gently used.

Discussed convention chair duties. Agreed to meet as convention committee chairs after every COLA meeting, 1045-1145 starting December 2009. The last fifteen minutes of the November meeting will be used for budgets. Committee chairs are encouraged to attend the November meeting in Mandeville with a draft budget.
NEW BUSINESS –Kim S. nominated for treasurer and Amy R. nominated for chair of COLA. Elections are next month.
