TREASURER  REPORT – Treasury has balance of $2731.26. Report accepted. PUBLIC INFO-public information is Cheryl P.   Nothing new to report. COLA WEB SITE  www.oa-neworleans.com  Website to be updated when meeting minutes sent. Website updated when information received. Ann reported a positive experience from e-mailing updates. LITERATURE anyone can order through www.oa.org-  Ann was reimbursed for the literature, a copy of the DVD, Interview with the Co-founder and 50th anniversary bookmarks have been received. The bookmarks sell for $4.50, and will be available for all events with literature throughout the year. The DVD is available for workshops, retreats or groups who would like to borrow it. Ann will order $600 in literature for the convention. It was decided to order two months in advance rather than the suggested four and $150. FUND RAISING: t-shirts UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS 2010 Feburary 27th is Unity Day sponsored by the Wednesday New Orleans group. 2010 March 19-21 Region 8 Recovery Convention and Business Assembly in Memphis, TN Dianne moved that we pay for Amy’s full expenses and Mimi’s gas. Janice seconded the motion. Approved. 2010 April 26-May 1, 2010 49th WSBC Business Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Theme:”Half a Century=One World of Growth.”  Janice moved to send a delegate and Lane seconded. Vote was 4 yes and 7 against. 2010 April 9, 10, 11th The Baton Rouge Intergroup of OA. “The Joy of Recovery Through Taking the 12 Steps”. 2010 July 9-11 Region 8 Recovery Convention and Business Assembly in New Orleans, LA Dianne stated the Articles of Incorporation have been re-instated.  Dianne talked to hotel and they sent a price list. The microphones are $75. Runners; Transportation, Luralisa W.;  Beth C, Public Information; Boutique, open.; Decorations, Cheryl P. & Angela R.;  Entertainment; open; Hospitality, open. 2010 August 26-29, 2010 World Service Convention 50th Birthday Celebration in Los Angeles, CA 2010  September 11, 2010  HOUMA’S 33rd BIRTHDAY at  main branch library in Houma. The theme is:         “Happy, Joyous and Free for 33” Janice reported they have speaker. 2010  November 5, 6 & 7, St. Mary of the Pines-Janice reported on Tonna from Texas as speaker for silent retreat. Mimi moved that the theme being “God of my own understanding” rather than “God as I understand Him”. Ann seconded the motion. Motion passed 10/1. MS agreed to co-chair the retreat. Ann volunteered to serve as COLA chair. 2010 November 5,6,7th Region 8 Recovery Convention and Business Assembly in  Orlando, Fl 2010  November 20th I.D.E.A. Day sponsored by North Shore at St. Timothy in Mandeville .NEW BUSINESS –   Janice stated someone is interested in starting a meeting downtown.
